Pushed on the importance of reaching 50 points, Mikel Arteta has told Sky that it's just another game in their season.

I'm not sure he really believes that, because a win here would be hugeeeeeee.

Erik ten Hag has just said on the tele that he has 'a special role' for Scott McTominay.

McTominay is of course the man that has been chosen to start in place of Casemiro. He hasn't started in the league since the 6-3 loss to Manchester City, but he did start when United beat Arsenal in the league earlier this season.

One to keep an eye on.

Arsenal have already signed Trossard and are expected to announce the £17.5million arrival of defender Jakub Kiwior next week from Spezia.

But the manager of the Italian side, Luca Gotti, has admitted he is 'frustrated' at losing his best players.

Leandro Trossard joined Arsenal earlier this week in a deal worth £27million after falling out of favour at Brighton.

It's unlikely Mikel Arteta will hand him a start at the Emirates, but he could certainly be invovled.

There's little doubt the Gunners certainly could win the title.

They could in theory be eight points clear with a game in hand at the end of the day. That's quite something.

Mikel Arteta has done a fantastic job. It'll be about whether or not they can see it out now.

Gary Neville doesn't seem too pleased with the signing of Wout Weghorst and insisted his former side are still 'short up front'.

Roy Keane meanwhile has echoed the views, but did give some praise to the Red Devils for their recovery after the disastrous start to the campaign.

They started the season slowly but have picked up, recovered, and at least put themselves in the conversation.

If City somehow manage to lose to Wolves and United beat Arsenal, the rivals will be level on points, trailing the Gunners by five points.

You can't rule it out, crazy as it may sound.

It's no secret how good Arsenal have been this season.

They just keep winning. Their defence is settled, while their attack is scintillating at times, and Arteta has been able to name pretty much a consistent side all season.

The injury to Gabriel Jesus hasn't impacted the side at all, and fans are really starting to dream of that Premier League title that has deserted them for so long.
